Cabin Refurbishing and Other Upcoming Camp Bountiful Events

A while back Sanctuary had planned a camp out at Camp Bountiful for the spring.  However, due to scheduling conflicts with one of the planned speakers, that date had to be changed.  Currently, Sanctuary will be holding a camp out in the fall rather than in the spring.  The dates for that camp out will be September 11-13 at Camp Bountiful. 

Originally, the camp had been planned for May 15-17.  Instead, Sanctuary will be helping with refurbishing a cabin on Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th of May.  Though helpers will need to bring their own food, accommodations for the night are free for those staying to help the second day.  Please join Sanctuary in helping prepare a cabin for incoming campers. 

In addition to Sanctuary's September camp, Camp Bountiful is holding several other camps throughout the summer providing options for different ages.  These options include the Junior High, Senior High, and Junior Retreats.  These will occur March 6-8, March 13-15, and March 20-22, respectively.  The cost for these retreats is $10/camper.  In addition, five summer camps will be offered each at $25 per person.  These include Camping 101 (ages 4,5, and 6 with an adult), Junior Camp (entering grades 2-6), Junior High (entering grades 7, 8, and 9), Senior High (entering grades 10-12), and Reunion.  These camps will occur May 1-3, May 31 - June 1, June 7 - 13, June 14-20, and June 20-26, respectively.  Finally, there will be a Women's Retreat this fall September 10-20, a Senior High retreat November 6-8, and a Junior High Retreat November 13-15.   

Also, don't forget that there are other opportunities a little farther away.  There will be a High Adventure Camp June 26-28 in New River, WV.  This camping session will be for ages 12-25 and costs $100 per camper.  There will also be a Spectacular for students entering grades 10-12 and 2026 graduates July 10-11.  This session will be held at Graceland University in Lamoni, IA and costs $25 per camper.
