Faith in the Feed: Church TikTok Engages Members and Apostles Alike

Sanctuary Community of Christ’s marketing team is seeing significant growth in its online reach, with TikTok videos drawing thousands of views from across the United States.

In recent weeks, the congregation’s social media efforts have expanded beyond the local community, connecting with viewers from multiple states. Short-form videos highlighting worship services, outreach projects and church life have generated strong engagement, including comments, shares and conversations.

Notably, several apostles within Community of Christ have interacted with the content, along with church members and individuals who are not affiliated with our church. The engagement has created new opportunities for connection, dialogue and awareness about our congregation’s mission and ministries.

The growth reflects a strategic effort by the marketing team to meet people where they are — online — while sharing messages of hope, service and community. As viewership continues to rise, the marketing team plans to build on the momentum by producing consistent, meaningful content that reflects the life and values of the congregation.

The increased digital presence marks a new chapter in outreach, demonstrating how social media can serve as a modern extension of ministry beyond the church walls.
