Data Centers & Community Impact: March Coffee & Conversation

c&c

Sanctuary Community of Christ will host its March Coffee & Conversation gathering with a timely and thought-provoking topic: data centers.

The non-religious event, held regularly by our congregation, provides a welcoming space for community members to gather over coffee and explore issues that impact daily life. March’s focus on data centers will invite conversation around what they are, how they operate and the growing role they play in modern society.

Data centers — large facilities that store and process digital information — support everything from social media and streaming services to banking, healthcare records and cloud storage. As demand for digital services increases across the country, so does the need for expanded infrastructure. The discussion will also explore how data centers affect local communities, including economic development, job creation, energy use and environmental considerations.

The goal of Coffee & Conversation is not debate, but dialogue — creating a respectful setting where participants can learn from one another and consider different perspectives. The March gathering continues Sanctuary’s commitment to engaging relevant topics while fostering connection and understanding.

Community members are invited to attend, enjoy refreshments and take part in a meaningful conversation about technology, growth and the future of digital infrastructure.
