Sanctuary to Hold Huge Yard and Bake Sale

With the warm weather last weekend, you might be thinking about doing that annual spring cleaning.  Now would be the perfect time to go through closets, attics, and garages in an effort to clear out unwanted junk.  When doing the ever-dreaded spring-cleaning, consider donating your unwanted items for the churchyard sale that is upcoming.  

Yes, you read that right! Sanctuary Community of Christ will be holding a yard sale and bake sale at the church in May.  The purpose of this event will be to raise money to help church members attend the Peace Forum in Independence, MO this upcoming October.  Other fundraisers have taken place, including a successful calendar fundraiser. While fund raisers so far have been successful, Sanctuary hopes to raise enough that the cost of food, hotel, travel, and registration fees will be covered for members attending.  Please help us reach that goal and get rid of your unwanted items in the process.  If you have items to donate for the church yard sale, contact Sharon Allen (sallen@scofchrist.org), Angel Harris (aharris@scofchrist.org), or Donna Dietrich (ddietrich@scofchrist.org) for details.
