Sanctuary to Visit Scioto Quaker Meeting for Service Exchange; Leading Diverse Collaboration Within Community of Christ

Sanctuary Community of Christ will visit the Scioto Quaker Meeting in Wheelersburg, Ohio, on Sunday, April 26, at 10 a.m. This morning gathering will not replace our regular Sunday worship but is part of a collaborative service exchange designed to celebrate diverse expressions of faith.

Our two communities have long shared a meaningful connection. One of the Scioto Quaker Meeting members currently serves as Sanctuary’s Coffee + Conversation Director, and the congregations previously partnered on a billboard promoting welcome and affirmation for LGBTQIA+ people.

This service exchange provides participants with the opportunity to experience different worship styles and to build community where it is needed most. Attendees will witness how varied faith communities gather, serve, and celebrate together.
