Recent Update: May/June Service Project
Dates:. May 6, 2026
Message: For the combined service project for May and June, the Outreach Committee will be responsible for planning for and preparing the Sanctuary table for the Pride festivals in Portsmouth, Ohio June 6th and in Chillicothe, Ohio June 27th. On May 6, 2026 from 6-8 pm, we hope all congregants will join us at Sanctuary for “Krafts and Karaoke.” The plan is to create a variety of items to distribute to attendees at the Pride festivals. These items will include banned book bookmarks, beaded bracelets, braided bracelets, and other crafts. Come out and showcase your singing talent while helping to make some craft items. Help will also be needed on the 6th and 27th to staff tables at the Pride festivals.

2026 Service Project History:

In January 2026 our congregation spent this months outreach budget by paying some of Jason Moore’s (congregant) funeral expenses.

For our February 2026 service project, our congregation collected items to fill the seven blessing boxes in the area.

Service projects for March and April were combined to allow for more funds to be dedicated to the project. This month’s project our congregation provided 60 “goodie bags” of cleaning supplies and snacks to residents of a low income apartment complex.
