Sanctuary to Host “Crafts and Karaoke” Evening Supporting Community Outreach and Portsmouth Pride 2026

Sanctuary Community of Christ will host a “Crafts and Karaoke” event on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., bringing together community members for an evening focused on creativity, service, and fellowship.

The gathering will combine hands-on craft-making with karaoke, offering participants an opportunity to create handcrafted items intended for community outreach efforts. The crafts produced during the event will later be distributed at Portsmouth Pride 2026, extending the project’s reach into a larger community setting.

All ages and skill levels are invited to participate. Organizers note that the event is designed to provide an accessible space where attendees can contribute regardless of prior crafting experience, while also engaging in a relaxed, social environment.

Alongside the crafting activities, karaoke will be included as part of the evening’s programming, adding an interactive element intended to encourage connection and participation.

The event will run for two hours and is open to the public.
