March-April Service Project Still Underway

As mentioned in the last couple newsletters, Sanctuary's Outreach Committee is collecting items to create goodie bags for the 60 residents of the Park Apartments on Chillicothe Street.  The projects for both March and April were combined to allow more time and resources to be devoted to the undertaking.  So far, there have been some donations of needed items, but the donations will continue to be collected through April 19th.  If you are able, please consider donating to the project and help us make the lives of these elderly residents a little brighter.  See the list of suggested items below.

There are 60 apartments with residents that we would like to be able to with goodie bags.  These are items that they expressed that they need.  Sometimes they have to make the decision between buying food and cleaning products.  They also expressed a desire for snack foods.  These items do not need to be name brand.

If you are able to donate any of the following items, it would be greatly appreciated.

• Toothpaste

• Toothbrushes

• Deodorant’

• Shampoo

• Bath soap

• Hand soap

• Lotion - Hand/body

Cleaning Items:

• Dish soap

• Paper towels

• Sponges

• Scouring pads

• Disinfectant sprays

• All-purpose cleaners

• Disinfecting cleaners

• Toilet bowl cleaner

• Scouring powder

• Cleaning cloths

• Dish cloths
